It's a fight that shouldn't be happening, Beneil has already earned a title shot and is getting screwed by even having to fight Charles first. They're keeping them both in a holding pattern in case they find a way to slide Conor into another title fight.

I met Beneil at the Ngannou fight in Anaheim and he's a really good dude. I don't want Charles to lose either, but I can't think of anyone more deserving of a title shot than Benny. May the best man win!

Deserving ? There's no such thing as "deserving". The guy fought once in 2 years. There's no momentum around this guy. If he beats Oliveira, good for him, but Makhachev is just too good of a wrestler/grappler and he's more technical on the feet. And no matter how great Oliveira looks against Dariush, he's getting the same treatment in a rematch with Makhachev.

Aldana has the best left hook out of all the women's MMA, but Amanda's right hand and power can end her before she can do anything, it only depends if Amanda's age is catching up or she's not as hungry anymore, but the gap between her and contenders are definitely closing in
