I’m sure most fans can agree we are about to see four of our favorite fighters fight and we’re going to be happy and sad. First, it’s Dariush and Charles and then Dustin and Justin. Only one can win between them. What’s more crazy is whoever wins gets a chance at a title shot again while the other man most likely never will again. It is such a massive fight for all four of them.

Had they not forced a Nunes/Pena 3, and just made the Nunes/Aldana from the start, they could have just fought a comfortable 145. But with a 5 week window, they had to go with title that was set.

I feel like if Nunes wins tonight she will retire. I hope she doesn't retire tonight. Only for one reason. I want the rematch with Pena. Everyone knows Pena got lucky the first fight. I need Nunes to beat Pena again. If they don't fight Pena big mouth will keep saying Nunes was scared of her. With the other fight I have Charles winning. Yes I would love the new matchup Beneil vs Islam, but Charles will win tonight.

I agree, I want to see Pena humiliated again too. On the other hand, if Nunes decides to retire, I think any of the top contenders in the bantamweight division can easily whoop Pena's ass. Which is why she adamantly refuses to fight anyone else but Amanda. She knows she stands no chance against Aldana or Holm, and a loss would put a definitive stop to the ridiculous idea that a trilogy is needed.

Is this still a debate? Nunes came in fresh off having Covid, and not at 100%. And because of that, Pena beat her; Fair and square; there was no "throwing the fight". However, we saw what Nunes did, when she was 100%. She dominated Pena for 5 rounds. The new debate can be, did Amanda make it go the distance, instead of finishing Pena earlier, just to prove a point? Or, as bad as Pena looked in there, was she just tough enough to at least hang in there, to finish the fight?

It's the harsh reality of the entertainment business. Nunes is undoubtedly the GOAT of WMMA, but there are several factors working against her marketability. Rousey is a blonde blue-eyed all-American Olympian, which is why she easily propelled into other ventures - movies, TV shows, professional wrestling, etc. - and attracted new fans to the UFC. Nunes is not as pretty, and she still struggles a lot with English. She's also a lesbian, and I suspect that her personal life limits her fan base a lot.

You know, you can hype UFC fighters all you want, but I do not see how Amanda Nunes Is the GOAT! Talk to me about that after she has taken on the likes of: Xiong Jing Nan, Angela Lee, Larissa Pacheco and Kayla Harrison. These guys seem to forget that the UFC is loosing ground and other major promotions are getting better and better, simply because they treat their athletes better!

She is the GOAT of the UFC Women. She will remain the GOAT of the UFC Women, long after she retires. Her records are leaps and bounds beyond any of the women who have fought in the UFC, to date. However there are WMMA fighters, in other promotions, that have amazing records and acomplishments, that rival Nunes. But maybe with the exception of Cyborg, we will never get to see them go up against Nunes. I predict when Nunes does retire, Shevchenko, will become the new face of the Women's UFC; She is still among the Top 10 longest title holders in the UFC, presently holding the 8th place spot.

Lol, they keep claiming Nunnes is the " Greatest ". Two Belts might mean that if you're Henry Cejudo, but not here. ...Then we've got " VIVA MEXICO ", which describes 90 percent of what Aldana has been saying leading to this fight.

Rose, Zhang and Shevchenko are all much better than her, but she still has a better record then any of them
