It always hurts seeing your favorite fighters retire, but Amanda did it after she won her belt back and defending it one more time. Respect and love. One of the greatest fighters of all time and she belongs in the GSP, Cormier, Silva, etc. tier of fighters.

1st fight pena got lucky and Amanda admitted to not training properly, 2nd fight amanda dominated her ! It would be the same as 2 of not worse if they did a 3rd . Amanda = G.O.A.T , she will be missed .

Not exactly true. Even during the 2nd fight where Amanda won, yes she won but did you look at her face after the fight? It looked like it was rearranged from outer space! And she was walking around in CRUTCHES…CRUTCHES after the fight! This showed how much damage Peña did to her despite the loss. Don’t forget that despite being dropped and dominated throughout the fight, Peña had a GOLDEN opportunity to win it with that armbar. If that armbar was executed tighter and better, it would have been 2-0 Peña

So, the #1 contender former champion coming out of TKO victory had 11 minutes of press conference, then media had 33 minutes of nothing, waiting until Amanda came in... whoever is responsible for managing that did a completely mediocre job. 11 minutes interview for Charles?
