@@ROO_17Nah man, that's not weird at all. Fans of fighters aren't specific to their country or city. The majority of UFC fights don't happen in the fighters home city and fans still support who they like. Even extreme stuff like McGregor being in Vegas are crowd going nuts for an Irish guy. Charles is a former champion with a hell of a story that people connect with. So the support makes a ton of sense. If you added up fans of popular fighters worldwide, I bet many fighters would have moved collectively fans from outside of their country and just a more dense group of support I'm their home.

Even Justin and Dustin have said they think Benny deserves it. The timing of it works because if Benny wins he will guarantee he’s the next title contender in October for islam in Abu Dhabi and Dustin and Justin fighting will determine who gets the next shot after Benny. The only way to other will cut even with their name value is if Benny gets hurt or can’t fight in October because of like a health suspension because the ufc wants islam in that Abu Dhabi card obviously

@@wizardsyndicate5505 I guess, but neither seems to really be clamoring for that right now and in terms of the ufc ppv interest, and islam or Benny if he wins as champs earning ppv points, the obvious choice for the ufc and the champ is going to be Dustin or gaethje as volk and islam 2 doesn’t do the numbers that islam and gaethje/Dustin or Benny and gaethje/Dustin…not that I’m hating on volk or saying like he doesn’t deserve a rematch. I think topuria if he beats Emmett should be next even if he probably should need to fight Arnold or max or Brian first even with a win just because it is the freshest matchup at fw and with ilia and Emmett fighting at the end of June and volk and yair fighting like a week or 2 later in early July assuming no injuries and volk wins and topuria wins that would be a quick enough turn around with a fresh dangerous matchup in topuria to keep volk content at 145, particularly because as much sway as volk does have with the ufc I still think the ufc will go with high name value guys in Dustin and gaethje over volk

No matter how the fight goes between Olivera and Dariush it's going to be the most respectful during and after. They won't hold nothing back during the fight but they obviously respect each other as people outside the ring. God bless them, this sport is lucky to have them and we are lucky to see them. It was nice to hear Dariush give credit to Olivera and Khabib as the #2 and #1 greatest of all time lightweights.

Really missed the boat on having Nate up there. I'm surprised there were not more questions for him, considering he's become a bit of a fan favorite and cut some pretty fun promos. I don't know, it's been this way for years. MMA journalism is pretty lousy, they ask the same questions. What are they doing every day? You cannot come up with ANYTHING else to ask? Nothing insightful, fun, just anything other than the same fracking questions.

This card is underrated as hell. The comain is a sure banger but Ige vs Landwehr could be fight of the night. Anders vs Barriault is also a good match up. A lot of potential on this one
