@@Unitaet gotta remember Volkov is 6”7! So his natural weight is probably close to 300 lbs. he’s cutting probably 30-40 lbs to make 255. Which I’m sure he’s good at it now, but that still can take a toll on your body. He’s also been in nearly 50 fights professionally so his body has deteriorated in many aspects. You can definitely say his bodily age is nowhere near his actual age in terms of durability. These heavyweights hit much much harder than your average guy, so that toll adds up!

Strickland is every bit as odd as Izzy is. They're just on polar opposite ends of the oddball/divergent character spectrum. That's honestly the thing that makes this buildup hype. I can't wait for the presser! 😅 And tbh their fight styles mirror their personalities...very unique, and distinctive from the "crowd" or general norm...but also every bit as extremely different from one another. It's kind of a poetic matchup. Styles make fights, as they say. No matter what happens, the closer this fight gets, the more and more vibe I get that this fight is going to defy any reasonable expectations and deliver on the entertainment value, however that looks, nobody can truly know. Just know to expect the unexpected, folks.

I mean, if you think about it, they both have different childhood. Sean talked about his being abusive and all of that so he really didn’t have the opportunity to embrace his. Well style bender on the other hand did, and still continues to enjoy his life to the fullest. No one direction is right, but it does showcase and how they carry themselves. If you ever wondered what good punching mechanics are then look at 5:40 He’s doing blitz cardio shit and his technique is still absolutely perfect. Volkov is a mainstay in the top 15 but still somehow so underrated.

I wonder if Sean understands his feelings enough to verbalize them. I personally struggle with this. When he asks his gf hypothetical questions, you have to peel back the layers. "What if I killed somebody with my car?
