These guys on stage have a combined 82 wins, with 6 losses. And one of those losses would not be there if Volk didn't move up a division for the challenge of it. Most dominant featherweight, most dominant lightweight, most dominant welterweight in the last 10 years, and Khamzat as one of the most dominant middleweight/welterweight up-and-comers. Let that sink in.

What sunk in was after fight will be 84 wins and 8 losses. I can see Islam and khamzat winning. Both brutal fighters. What’s weird is Islam and Usman are like brothers and hang out. Khamzat and Islam met only once.

It’s so weird how much more I like and appreciate Kamaru after he lost the belt.. it’s almost like he’s just himself now and doesn’t have to do any extra shit or put on a show or anything and I just like him more now. This is the guy that plays pool and watches college football at Justin Gaethjes house on Saturday’s and I like that version of Kamaru more, because it’s actually who he is. Hope he wins.

Most respect for Usman specially. Coming out of two losses is hard. Compared to Islam and Volk they know what they are facing. Plus Khamzat is a fast brutal fighter while Usman is more calculated. He needs to be on top and alert from first sec. There is no feeling it out with Khamzat

Can I just say, the talent level of the 4 men seated at that table is incredible. Arguably one of the GOATs of all-time in Kamaru; the absolute dominance of Islam; the absolute reign of Alex and arguably another GOAT, and the deserved hype of Khamzat. This is an incredible level of talent of fighters seated on the stage at one go. Credit to each man. Very very excited for Saturday. Good luck to each of you. Khamzat is 12-0 and took a year off. Let’s see him get to 24-0. If he does then he will be one of the greats. He’ll have to go through Kamara, Strickland, Bo, Whitaker, DDP, maybe Cannonier, Vetori, Paul Craig and of course Izzy. But you got to fight more than 1 time a year especially when you are young.

The only thing I disagree with from Makhachev is the logic that because he defends the belt against the FW champ that he should get a shot at the WW champ. Volk got the champ-champ shot because he wasted everyone in line at FW, we need some title defenses against LW contenders before he goes up.

Man people slept on burns, kumshot said he will kill burns😂, we saw what happened. Usman is elite than burns, kumshot again saying he'll kill, TF he talking, I think burns took some of his brain cells last fight. Usman’s energy is different in this fight. Go back & study the Masvidal & Edwards press conferences. He’s far more confident, refuses to break eye contact first & speaks with more malicious intent. All of that vigor & vitriol is missing right now. It’s as if he’s resigned to accept the moral victory of showing up. Or…he’s on the opposite end of the spectrum & ready to dismantle his enemy. I lean towards to former, but we shall see.
