Merab is tough. That punching to takedown combo is pretty smooth. Especially against people like Yan who just shell and wait to counter. I just don't think it'll be as effective on Sean. He stands further away, he moved better, and he's much more likely to put your lights out on the way in. If he can take the damage, maybe he wears Sean out. But I just think he's going to get clipped alot throwing a punch and diving for the takedown. And if Cejudo can rock him, Sean will flatline him. But, sometimes the good wrestlers end up having an easier time striking due to the wrestling threat. It's MMA, anything can happen. I just know I've been pumped about this fight since it was announced.

@margincall1945 right, that's why I didn't use mma math per say. Just stating that Aljo is all around better than Merab, so I'm thinking Sean still beats him. With that said, i feel as if he will have a bit more success than Aljo, maybe take him down a couple times, but I think one of Sean's most underestimated attributes is his wrestling defense. Let's say he does take him down, I still think Sean will get up and eventually knock him out. If Merab does take him down successfully, he might get cocky trying to spam them and catch a knee straight down the pipe. Or not 🤷‍♂️ we shall see 👀

Dana did an interview, I think two days ago, and said they're about to be $18 million into the production "so far" while noting there was still time left before the event, implying that costs could continue to go up. As another comment mentioned, they still haven't sold out and the remaining seats are said to be shitty seats that are really expensive (on the auditorium chart, they do look like shitty seats) - supposedly where they are gives you a weird side angle of the screen that doesn't look that great. Dana White initially touted a $25-$27 million gate, which he has since taken back and said it would be $21 million. In short, Dana White lost his ASS on this gig.

This is so irrelevant to this card but omalleys last fight sent me into labor I was so stressed 😅😅 I always put my money on the suga show, even tho he dog walked chito, the anxiety leading into “you ready, you ready… fight” literally gave me contractions. My son was born 3 days later, 4 weeks early

It’s going to be a good event. No question. But to say, “the greatest”? The term greatest means nothing better than that, but I can name a few cards that would dwarf this one.
