People talk a lot of Abdulmanap, but Javier Mendez deserves a lot of credit too. He has revolutionized their team's striking skills. Truly the best team.

No disrespect to Javier, he's definitely helped them improve as well as all AKA coaches and team. But a lot of those Dagestan fighters already had really good striking. It's mainly Khabib who had very little striking originally. Umar and Usman Nurmagomedov both had really high level kickboxing before coming to America to train.

Main striking coach is magomed and another friend of makhachev who's olympic takedow champ. Javier is an important part but he spends only last twontgree weeks of training with them

Respect for Umar has doubled. The only person i heard mention the stuff going on in LA and showed his true character by just understanding how many people are really hurt due to the fires going on right now. I think is a UFC thing. For whatever reason, they don't want to highlight the fire issue. Everybody in the world (i'm from Spain) knows what is happening in LA. Fighters knows too, for sure. It's like erasing Ngannou of everything UFC related. They just do that type of things.

It just happens to be that in the last 30 years Muslims have really been going through it. Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Myanmar, East Turkistan, Palestine, Kashmir, Sudan and more. But other than that, Muslims are very humanitarian in general. They’re the most Charitable by record in the US, the UK and wherever they go. Impossible to starve in a Muslim neighbourhood.

Tbh i think his pace and stamina are the only good things. He is a decent wrestler but that combined with amazing stamina he becomes very difficult for everyone else. But Umar might knock him out.
