Thing is i dont think that retirment was preplanned. Think Aldo called it during the decision and decided it was over in which case UFC didnt even get the chance to create one. Its a shame Aldo got robbed twice during the end of career

The thing is that fighters who announce their retirement in advance gets a nice video and acknowledgement (even if you are Lionheart), if they just decided on the spot then there is little UFC can do - especially Aldo retired once before

Cause Silva was running more than she was fighting. People wanted to see a fight, if they wanted to see running they would have watched Olympics. But Silva did win clearly, the brawl in the last round was beautiful

I'm not taking anything away from either of them, and I'm not going to dump on Belal for actually trying to be entertaining and put on a good fight. People wanted him to stand and bang and that is what he did for the first 3 rounds against a guy who was supposed to be the boxing boogey-man at welterweight. Props to both of them. Best main event of 2025 thus far

Islam Makhachev will defeat Jack Della Maddalena. Jack barely beat Belal Muhammad, he couldn't finish Belal. Islam said he doesn't wanna move up to middleweight and he will never fight Khamzat.
