Been a Pico fan since 2016 One of the greatest wrestling phenoms I had ever seen and we called him the “Snap down king” He almost made the 2016 Olympic team and was a cadet world champ… Dude wrestled Hassan Yazdani as a kid ffs 😅 And he has hands like Ilia and even better wrestling so win or lose I hope everyone supports this great American prospect. 💪

All these guys talking about Murphy is too fast and wont be there to get hit. He also has a career takedown defense of 52%. Pico has the ability to chain together takedowns, and put punishment on him in an area of mma where speed means absolutely nothing. Im sure Jackson Wink has him training to shoot for the legs early. If he sticks to the gameplan. He will dominate. Murphy is not built for that level of grappling

I honestly don't see anything Lerone Murphy does better than Pico. Both in wrestling and boxing Pico has better fundamentals. It doesn't always translate to fighting but in this case, Pico seems to be peaking right now. He is only 28 and eventually will peak and will hit his prime. I really believe he can be champ especially since Ilia moved up and Volk got mileage. So far Bellator fighters been getting embarrassed but Pico might be the one to break that.

I've been training boxing since I was a little boy and I can most definitely confirm, Pico has better fundamentals, at least in striking. As I also mentioned it doesn't well translate well into MMA but that's what we will see.

Fight IQ . Murphy is very intelligent. He plays for points . He can stretch and get points left and right . He doesn’t play for finish . He gets points to win . And he increases his points so much that you can’t catch him if you loose couple of minutes.

This is bad match making imo Pico is an exiting aggressive fighter but Murphy is a tactical outside striker. Pico matches great with a lot but it's going to be hard to make this exciting and Murphy probably beats him too.
