+Astrix321 huge respect to you astrix you´ve got some excellent points, i´ve researched into this myself and this is my 2 cents. the only problem for silva is people saying he fought a weak competition, some people say this is true some say its not. if you look at statistics of total wins/losses etc of the fighters he fought theres arguments for both sides. i think its fair to say both types of people are right. yes he might have faced a tad weaker comeptition than, perhaps there is now, or what other fighters have fought (i dont know this im saying maybe theres SOME truth to it) BUT, even the "haters" have admitted he did make fools out of guys like henderson and some others they thought was legit. some guy said silva only had 2-3 title defenses that counted for being legit. but what did he do to these "legit" fighters that were good enough in his haters eyes? he made them look like rookies. which proves silva was so good that even good competition made it seem he faced weak competition, and had there been more tough fighters morep eople they had been taken out too. its not about the competition its about silva fighting style, his mentality. ive spent a tremendous amoutn of time on researching these subjects on silva as he is the goat too in my eyes, and i found a note where he has said, that with the weidman fight he was very arrogant and he had forgotten that humility brought him to where he was. but hey, even conor said it "its hard to be humble when you´re best". and silva literally was bored, he´s always been one of the ferw fighers who truly had fun in the octagon, so much he forgot weidman would do eveyrthing possible to knock him out, yet he played with him. people can say what they want aboutsilva. but his level, is far beyond anyone ive seen. jon jones might be the new guy to take over, silva has said to him "now you´re the best" he´s giving the torch. if jon jones can honour silva its by learning from silva, and use his own abilities and make a new super fighter. Silva is a complicated figheer though, and alot of psychology and mindgames goes into his fights. hell if anyone could, its silva who could have been a 2 division wolrd champion, but he never had that as a goal, he jsut fought whoever was brogutht to him by fans and the ufc. anyway i´ll end my rant here. big respect again and makes me happy to see another intelligent fan. remember tho, that silva is doing this for him, for his heart. it aint for proving anything, lose win it makes no difference, - he´s made near unbreakable records, he could ahd made them unbreakkable if he didnt fuck up with wiedman - but whatever. asy fight for him, and lets hope he gets to end his career with a last golden touch. he deserves that.

TL DR i can only agree with pretty much everything you said, specially that last part. but i still dont think jon jones has the technique that anderson had in his prime, jon jones is just a beast with insanely long lims which pretty much gives him the best advantage in fighting

+Sangerino Not just about strength. Steroids also give you better recovery time. Better recovery time means ability to train more. Training more means you become a better fighter. You can recover faster and better when you are on steroids. Knowing that you've not only trained harder/longer/more frequently, are stronger/faster, and can recover quicker than your opponent can also give you a mental edge. You get 2 guys of equal skill and weight. Then have them train for 2 months to fight each other. Have one on steroids and the other not. The guy on steroids has a much better chance of winning.

everybody in the ufc is on steroids or at least the top 20 in the division. but im pretty sure everyone is. Do you think just because you pass a drug test this is proof that youre clean? Ronnie coleman can pass a drug test. Even easier for pro fighter who take by far less PEDs. In high competition no matter which discipline everyone uses PEDs. In the olympics, in the fifa world championship, in boxing, in mma, in swimming, in the tour de france, in the grand slam tournaments of tennis...just everywhere

+Rather Notsay the thing why I believe everybody there uses them is that you cant outcompete PEDs. All the guys in the ufc or bellator or years ago in pride and strikeforce where supertalented and super dedicated and super genetically gifted. And some of them got caught with PEDs altough most didnt. But do you think they guys who didnt get caught and won or nearly won against the guys who got caught just trained even harder and were even more talented and had even more willpower? And all this to an extent that they could outcompete the use of PEDs? No way. PEDs work. Theres no doubt. I mean even alistair overeem or lesnar passed the test. Yes I also think that the lower weight classes dont use much anabolic roids (altough I think even they use them to a certain extent). They probably take more drugs to give you better cardio and regeneration. How else could you train every day for hours? Just imagine you would be in the ufc and your next opponent would be dos santos or RDA or Jones (deadlifting 250 pounds more in 4 month??? Probably no PED use at all here ^^). And its obvious these guys take PEDs. So would you wouldnt you? How else would you be able to train enough to beat them? Without PEDs you would lying hald dead on the ground after a month of their training plan. Even in the weaker pro leagues and the amateur fights there are drugged up guys. and just because most ufc fighters dont look like bodybuilders doesnt mean they arent on some PEDs
