Yeah I've watched a bunch of UFC 2021 recaps and have barely seen this fight get mentioned. I was jumping around the room yelling at the TV from start to finish, plus it was 5 rounds. I think Gaethje vs. Chandler is more marketable for UFC but Volkanovski vs. Ortega was a better fight by a good margin.

@@jmz2144 12 Years ago, he got it even worse by going through wars to decision for many years. This being said I think Masvidal can come back from this, if he just didn't break mentally, ofcourse chin can be gone aswell but I doubt it. That right was just perfect, and Usman hits like a truck.

Kamaru Usman successfully defending the welterweight title thrice this year, two of those title defenses ending up in TKO and KO finishes and beating Colby Covington again for twice in a row now, has just solidified himself as the second greatest UFC welterweight champion of all time, next to the number one, Georges St Pierre, of course.

Chandler debuted in the UFC , but i think people expect champions from other promotions to already be at a very high tier. I expect debut of the year to go to someone no one knows very much about, or at least not already a former champion of MMA, and they surprisingly excel consistently and bring immediate, greater value to your organization. Chandler could be HM but i can't give it to him. If he comes out on top of either Oli or Gaethje, i prolly give it to the man.
