@@Dan-vz7xu I think there's an argument to be made that if Sean threw 2-3 more punches in the first round instead of trying to walk it off, Almeida wouldn't have had to content with 2 more rounds of shots to the face and body. Yeah sure the shots when they are down might seem excessive, but the alternative is usually letting them get back up and then having to do it to them again. Whats worse for them? A knockdown and a 1-2 more hits to end it. Or 2-3-4-5 Knockdowns with several shots to the leg, to the knee, to the liver etc before being finished in the third round? That's not to say that some fighters aren't incredibly excessive and dive on people who are CLEARLY out and hammerfist them into oblivion when they are already in the Fencing Position. Im just saying trying to be the "Class act" isn't always going to be the medically best answer

When a fighter rushes a downed a opponent they look desperate, as if they're scared the opponent is gonna resurrect so they look like a monkey smashing their arms at the opponent until the ref stops them. But with O'Malley a slow walk with a calculated and sharp punch looked like an execution. O'Malley looked like a serial killer instead of that look of desperation you see from normal fighters.

You don't know what he's talking about? I'll explain it to you then. When you play fighting games or do martial arts/combat sports you've got your style, and then you've got tricks that will score you points. The more you use a certain attack or trick, the more accustomed your opponent will get to it. A high class opponent will be able to counter it after the first time a move has been used, so usually we like to do attacks that score us points while saving "finishers" for when they're truly needed and our normal attacks no longer are effective.
