It's kind of obvious that Art Jimmerson wore that glove on his power-hand so he could throw harder punches without worrying about breaking his hand/wrist. I can't believe a professional fighter like DC doesn't know that *wearing a larger glove allows harder punches.* It's the ol' "E=MC squared": add more mass to the fist, increase the energy delivered on strikes. Also you feel much more confident when punching with a glove on, with some nice tight handwraps stabilizing your wrist.
