@@7ItalianStallionhe does its a very common thing for him to use the scissor knee, check out his kickboxing career hes got a lot of tools he used to use only use boxing and knees with some supplemental kicks when he got his first belt and he kept evolving into the greatest striker to ever live His bag is deep because he used to be one of the most limited kickboxers active and decided he needed to change that i cant wait to see how his grappling evolves

I think i remember they were gonna choose between the winners of Rua vs Vera and Machida vs Bader fights. Rua's win was lousy compared to Machidas win by knockout. So Machida was offered the rematch, but i think jones turned it down.

Rampage KO of Liddell was absolutely brilliant. He trapped Liddell escape to the left by switching to southpaw and nailing him with a lead right hook. Hi level, he didn’t know what hit him. Surprise is the key 🔑

Tony was amazing In Ultimate Fighter, he finished all four of his opponents. He came to the UFC and won the first two fights, he broke one or two hands in the third round, he fought Michael Johnson with a broken arm, I think he lost a split decision, he had 12 consecutive wins since that loss. From 2012 to 19. Most of them had at least two wins in a year, and most of them have 3 Dares Choke finishes, while most of the famous grapplers or the best jiu-jitsu players do not even have 1 Dares Choke finish in their entire sports career. The head and condition of the opponents are all bloody, Tony Albo Ferguson 🔥

Crazy when you look back Strickland was doing good making feints, pressuring, landing, keeping Perrera on the back foot and then...the dreaded left hook and follow up right. Not a very long time before Alex made the read.

Not a huge fan of Alex, but he definitely set up strickland hard on that. Sean parries jabs so much and you see Alex feint the jab to draw out the parry, then counter with the hook. If not a hook it would've been a headkick.

Strickland is sort of an updated version of Forrest Griffin; going to fight the same way every time, no matter how he may have to eat punches to do it. AP is just another level up from SS.
