There is a REAL aura to this team right now, and that makes a BIG difference. We've seen domino effects before in gyms where one guy wins a belt, and then we see much improved performances from teammates, so imagine when you've got multiple guys like this on big win streaks, finishing everybody. It gives them an added confidence going into fights, where they always feel their preparation is superior to their opponents. Combine that with crazy skill sets, and it's a problem!

I have been super high on Caio for the longest time. The guy got insane fight IQ, incredible cardio, he's tough, got solid striking skills and has high level grappling. Plus, I think the UFC would be happy to have him as a champ. He got starpower, can eloquently speak English, is funny and is respectful to everyone he's fighting (unless there's beef). No doubt in my mind that he's going to be champ. I think DDP will win against both Khamzat and Strickland but Caio is by far DDP's worst matchup. I'm already looking forward to that fight

Ruffy's most recent decapitation of "King" Green was absolutely insane. He was practicing the kick before the fight too. No idea why Green even took that fight with his style of not ever having his hands up and also having the height and reach disadvantage. Got picked apart the whole time, and Ruffy could've literally fought someone else that same night with how little he got touched. I'm not sure he got tagged at all really.

watching cannonier lose to borralho made me sad all over again about his performance vs izzy. sometimes you only have one shot at the title, you don't get gifted shots after a single win vs a guy on his way out the ufc (like colby), especially if you've never held the real belt. you've gotta give the best performance that you can, and unfortunately, cannonier didn't and he's 40yrs old and post-mcl tear. no shame in losing to borralho though, the guy is a damn beast!
