The Pablo Sucupira He teaches this distance game very well, and there's Flávio who takes care of the fence and ground game, this mix together with other coaches and each fighter's own technique makes this something even greater.

you gotta think like all of these ufc level fighters work really hard but some work smarter as well, working on different stuff, learning stuff etc, that's why we see some fighters being levels above others and all of them work hard lol for example max holloway started his career way before ilia and max works hard af but still ilia has way better boxing and the guy started off as a bjj expert lol

There is a REAL aura to this team right now, and that makes a BIG difference. We've seen domino effects before in gyms where one guy wins a belt, and then we see much improved performances from teammates, so imagine when you've got multiple guys like this on big win streaks, finishing everybody. It gives them an added confidence going into fights, where they always feel their preparation is superior to their opponents. Combine that with crazy skill sets, and it's a problem!

Jean Silva is my favorite fighter. A killer with A LOT of emotion and heart. Loves fighting! So much better knowing that vs someone just showing up for a check. The guy is a hoot. Love the slow intimidating walk-ins. It appeared he didn't want his last fight to end early like he craved the crowd's attention and praise. Just A++.

Ruffy's most recent decapitation of "King" Green was absolutely insane. He was practicing the kick before the fight too. No idea why Green even took that fight with his style of not ever having his hands up and also having the height and reach disadvantage. Got picked apart the whole time, and Ruffy could've literally fought someone else that same night with how little he got touched. I'm not sure he got tagged at all really.

watching cannonier lose to borralho made me sad all over again about his performance vs izzy. sometimes you only have one shot at the title, you don't get gifted shots after a single win vs a guy on his way out the ufc (like colby), especially if you've never held the real belt. you've gotta give the best performance that you can, and unfortunately, cannonier didn't and he's 40yrs old and post-mcl tear. no shame in losing to borralho though, the guy is a damn beast!

I've been watching the ufc since 2000, and to see the evolution of fighters over every 10 years in every division in its own right, and the fights we have gotten to witness, recently too, at that, on top of that decade history of crazy fuckin fights, and now? The athleticism that exists and the power behind it combined with the skill, it's extraterrestrial what we're witnessing today. These fighting nerds 🤓, specifically Jean, Carlos and Mauricio, they are the most dangerous and interesting fighters to come out of Brazil recently and they got that dog in them, and I love the antics within their fight personality.

I didn't know how to feel about Jean Silva in particular at first, looked like a wannabe Conor but that's really who he is! The Brazillian Conor...really he's his own thing and will probably be champ I liked learning that they were all bullied growing up. It takes true security to be honest and open about that. These guys are inspiration to people, like myself, who struggle with memories of being bullied even from over 20 years ago. The Nerds have 4 guys who have legit shots at becoming Champions and they've earned a new fan tonight.
