I hope Islam was working on his boxing because unlike his past opponents Green is not a white belt he grew up wrestling and only learned boxing after becoming a pro MMA fighter.

@@joebenson528 "learned wrestling growing up". Look at Gaetje, he was Division 1 NCAA all American. Most likely wrestled all his life till college, right? Khabib took him down and outclassed. Islam is Khabib's sparring partner from childhood, trained in the same gym, same coach Adulmanap and one of few, who can wrestle with Khabib in MMA. Plus he is from Dagestan - they are famous for their elite level of wrestling and training. Bobby is not even close to that level, he started wrestling during his sophomore year in college.

Alvarez is like chiesa should move up and be comfortable missed weight twice in 3 fights. Killing himself to get to 156.

Don't act like he didn't had a full fight camp 😂 Man's literally trained for months to fight a killer and that killer is replaced by a low ranked guy. It is unlikely that he will lose, but if he did he got no excuses.

A well rounded MMA fighter, shouldn't care who they replace anyone with. Listen to any interview with Islam or coach Javier, they both say the same thing....even if the fighters get switched the night before, they would still fight and beat them. That is what being in well rounded is all about. Everyone else picking and choosing and preparing for 1 style are just 2 dimensional!! Islam can fight anyone. Doesn't mean he'll beat everyone, but he doesn't need special training to fight anyone. Elite Professional!!
