Why was Vanzant not charged with fouls for moving her head, every time it was her turn to be slapped. I think she recieved special treatment because she is who she is. I like her and am a fan of her. But fair is fair. She flinched every time she was slapped. This may push me away from watching these events in the future if they will continue to play favorites. This match should have been judged a draw, because of her fouls. Not a good look for anyone who has eyes.

These movements are considered fouls because they interfere with the striker’s attempt to land a legal slap. If a defender flinches, moves their head, or otherwise disrupts the strike, the referee may issue a warning or allow the striker to attempt the slap again. Repeated violations can lead to penalties or disqualification for the defender
