I mean Ngannou clearly lied, basic understanding of humans, when Gane spoke he was just talking, when Francis spoke he was thinking. As soon as Gane directly asked Ngannou "you knocked me down?" Ngannou immediately changed his argument to "did you leave the sparring?" Sounds like he was building an exaggerated lie around a small aspect of truth.

Good points but that doesn't mean the argument is whether Francis lied. He believes he did what he said. The question is whether he has a different definition of knocked out. Maybe he meant wobbled badly in training and had to go home counts as a light KO

Exactly so the knock out ratio should have been the point of comparison. He has a finish rate of 100% by the way. Curtis Blade first fight was a doctor stoppage because Ngannou put his hands on him

Francis didn't "make it up as he went on". He had already talked about the left high kick in a previous interview. What's more, he didn't start all this lol, the footage was released and the media keep asking about it.

They suddenly act offended not carrying the French flag or saying him and Cyril weren't really training partners, talking about "what France gave him". Sure, he developed in France but why can't he move on and do what he always dreamed of. We all know France treats illegal immigrants like Francis wonderfully (being sarcastic).

Point is Gane and his coach, because let's be real it was BOTH of them not just the coach, crossed the line with all those training stories and footage. Francis was just getting some "get back" at the press conference. Good move and helped changed the narrative somewhat.

Gane has the better head for sure. Ngannou looks stressed even though he acting calm. But this drama has affected Gane alot more and he let it show with his face, it like he LOVES Ngannou. When they dapped after face-off it made his day

Leaving practice doesn't mean a thing. Your coach can see you having a bad sparring session and tell you to pack your bags for the day. Eliminates the risk of getting a serious injury and cools heads if the sparring partner did something stupid.

He understands what it means to be an underdog, because his life story tells it all... His heart condition will determine the win against and Cyril, not his speed or power. Francis has a lot to lose if he doesn't win... And he has been in this situation before when crossing the Sahara desert and going through the opened sea on a plastic boat using his hands as paddles to crossover Europe ….. Obviously Cyril will be hyped up more by the UFC, as it's quite likely that Francis won't be renewing his contract. So it makes sense to hype him up as the next big thing. I personally have Cyril by decision, but he's going to have to be PERFECT for 5 rounds. Whatever you might think about N'gannou, he is the hardest puncher the UFC has ever seen... all it will take is one shot for him to end the fight. Francis doesn't have to be pretty, doesn't have to be perfect to end the fight.... Cyril has to, and there in lies the excitement for this fight!

Question is, has Francis faced anyone with Cyril's movement and level of endurance? I guess we will all find out soon enough! :)

Damn, DC said Overeem got them concrete feet hahahaha this was a good show. I don't think comparing the Derrick fight is a 1:1 though. Derrick is flat footed and a brawler. Francis is way more athletic, faster and kinda think has a better fight IQ. all that being said, Ganes footwork is on another level and that may be all is needed.

Tbh gane told the truth cause he’s trying to say we were technically sparring he hit me hard and rocked me. The coach told them not sparr anymore that day cause sometimes emotions come in and it leads to way worse outcomes/injuries. Plus Francis said they only had 6 light sparring sessions lol. lmao, they're reaching with this almost 10 minute video over nothing. The two used to spar, so what? Then these bs stories about who bested who, its like high school shit. I find it funny how the UFC desperately looks for anything to create some kind of story around a fight, to make to more than just a fight. Francis has timing and power that's why all his fights end in knockouts now Francis has been through the fire Lossing to Stipe and Derick and racking up 5 straight knockouts including the best heavy weights to ever fight Cain and Stipe there's no doubt if Francis fought like he did against Stipe he will win against Cyril.... The sparring footage wasn't outed to take a dig at Francis but to promote a fight Ciryl was in at the time.Then Fernand told his side of the story of the Francis breakup but Francis didn't get to tell his side because the mma media are all led by people who are either partenered to the UFC or rely on it to make their money.Francis isn't the villain.Ciryl isn't the villain.Fernand isn't the villain.Dana is the villain because he doesn't want to pay Francis(or anyone else)the money he deserves and also probably won't let him box if he is in a contract.A tyranical businessman who turned an entire sport into a monopoly he controls and treats everyone like shit

Because that whole sparring footage was in favor of Gane he should have been candid about its conclusion when asked about it early. He omitted the conclusion that he got hurt at the end and practice came to end for him
