I picked Andrade to win but it took me only 10 seconds in the fight to understand i picked wrong. Yan is so bloody fast, being the bigger fighter too! I'm impressed, good job lady.

Never seen Andrade this careless. 3 leaping left hooks in a row against a counterpuncher!!! Not sure if Xiaonan purposely lured her in, but that was a masterpiece.

@@pokemonovice9758 ya'll clearly have short term memory loss. Joanna already set the blue print on how beat Andrade. Andrade fights like a bull and basic kickboxing footwork is Andrade's weakness. Yan basically fought like Joanna, but Yan has the power that Joanna doesn't have.

@@35PHaatonOtoVivid Joanna is not an expert in footwork or distance, or counter punching, like Xiaonan is; and still JJ was able to dominate Jessica with movement. Yan is the absolute worst matchup for Andrade, and it's ridiculous she was the underdog

Agree, Andrade emptying her gas tank seems to be a habit. It works on opponent who are not use to been rushed but Yan saw the opportunity and capitalised it.

Yan Xiaonan's performance really surprised me. Before the game I always thought she would be a stepping stone for Andrade. After all, she is not as eye-catching as those star players. But now I think Yan Xiaonan is badly underrated. Or she have made great progress recently. This is indeed an undisputed victory for her.

Asian fighters are all excellent strikers, no wonder they dominate in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and lower weight classes of boxing. But from my observation, their ground game is as bad as dog poop, except for Shavkat and Aung La N Sang.

Yan Xiaonan made a great performance!!! This for sure can put her in top 5 and maybe a possible title contender!!! I think weight cuts are starting to affect Andrade also. But head up, she's already a legend of MMA and one of the best women fighters!!

That's the issue with wide swinging punches- someone can go right through the middle, and catch you. Between her and Zhang, that's talent from the PRC. Pit them against each other for the Belt, Dana. Yesterday

Sanda is basically Muay Thai without clinching,knees,elbows and more focus on trips/throws

@@a129838552 it is not. The whole philosophy is very different. Also the arsenals deployed are often differentiated, lots of inside leg kick and side kick, stand-up wrestling inspired by xuaijiao. Speed is also highly emphasized. Not saying which one is more effective, just saying it is different.
