@jamespaul6315 no shit, but you're talking about Amanda who's in a 20lb higher weight class(sometimes 30 when she won n defended at 145) and she came after Joanna. Amanda without a doubt is the best female fighter ever but girls like Joanna paved the way and she deserves nothing but respect. Her title run was solid, yea she got served humble pie by rose twice, then came back and had the best female fight ever when she fought Weili the first time, and she should've won that fight. 2 rounds she out struck her, and 3 rounds they landed exact amount of strikes the other 3 rounds. Joanna opened the door far many women and inspired them that they could too be Champs if they put in that hard work. That's undisputed

So proud of my fellow countrywoman. First Polish champ and she ruled with an iron fist. We did see a nasty side come out of her during the Rose feud, but I think she got humbled and learned her lesson. Joanna Jędrzejczyk is a pioneer of this sport for women and will go down in the history books as one of the greatest to do it. She defended her belt, what, 5 times after winning it? Just winning 5 fights in a row in any division in the ufc is difficult, let alone championship fights. Joanna vs Weili 1 was probably the greatest women's fight I've ever watched, and even tho I think she did win that fight, Weili showed her warrior spirit and gave all that she had too. Love JJ and anyone that loves and follows UFC and the sport knows how much of a catalyst she was to putting women's MMA on the map. Cheers for this great role model and Hall of Famer 🥂 🍻 👏 🎉🍾🏆🥇🥊🥋 Edit: Defended it 3 times after winning it. Nonetheless she's a true warrior and legend of the sport. Wish she won her last fight, but was bittersweet seeing her retire. It was time

Then with her two losses to Rose I think she came back equally as strong despite the losses and made a lot more fans including myself. Its an odd one but I think thats part of what also makes fighters special, the wins and belts are great but seeing them in a different light can really change your perspective. Joanna is certainly one of the GOAT's in womens MMA, she won her belt, defended it, gave us some epic fights and tbh im happy for her now. Retired from fighting but looks so much happier
