First time I have watched his fight was in Saint Petersburg, Russia 2006. He was competing in BODOG fight. All I remember is dude had so fast hands. My college friend and I talked about he could be great boxer. Good old days. Salute Jorge. You're legend in this sport.

This dude at one point was the face of the UFC. Now he’s a copromoter and business partner of the UFC. Only a few have been able to do. Absolute Legend and HOF!

As much as people hate on him, the irony is he never really changed who he was. He always had a hood mentality and represented his Cuban immigrant heritage . It was only after his Usman loss did everyone start to turn on him and criticize him for the same things they praised after his flying knee ko. Think about it, after his ko over Till and his iconic backstage “ 3 piece and a soda “ incident with Leon, everyone praised him for his “ on sight” street mentality for approaching Leon on the spot, then when he almost got into it with Kevin Holland backstage before his final fight in Miami all of a sudden it was “ your a grown man still getting into street fights “ . When your winning your on top of the world and you can’t do no wrong but the second you lose everyone hates you for the same thing they praised you for. Sure Jorge did let his fame get to him a little but at the same time the things he did that gets criticized now including the Colby incident at the restaurant is exactly what he would have done even if he never got famous. He’s a Miami street kid that came from a Cuban immigrant family escaping the Fidel Castro communist tyranny , grew up in poverty fighting in the streets , rose to fame and fortune in one year and just like that it went but yet he still remains the same. As much as he used the Scarface gimmic a lot, Dude really is like a real life Tony Montana lol.

Jorge had one of the best runs of ALL TIME in the ufc despite not winning the division title. So he goes out and he created his own belt (BMF) now he has He has Max Holloway fighting Justin Gaethje for the bmf belt he invented. He’s a legend for sure. Best villain of all time.

Masvidal is always gonna be a real fighter and one of my favs...not just cage opponents ...dude fought his way through all the odds ...living with his mother ... fighting in the streets....guy who came from nothing to achieving what he has...a true martial artist ⭐🔥

Not a fan of the man's actions outside of the cage at times, but you can't deny his place in the sport and I grew up with em watching. Truly a legend and he definitely was the victim of a few robberies that skidded his career.

Solidified in the mma history book, wins and losses but the biggest impact you can make is with yourself and what you leave the world, we can all be inspired by a man like this.

I just met Jorge Masvidal on Christmas Eve! He was super cool! I live in the Florida Keys so it was super unexpected to just randomly see him jog right past my car haha! When I waved to him and pointed he came up to my car. Dude is a legend I was fangirling hard lol he was cool as hell
