@@Stormwern This division is awkward rn. Next contender should be Yan Xiaonan, she has not been provided any fight since May. But I think both UFC and Zhang don’t want China derby. That’s why Suarez v Yan and Zhang moving up make sense.

I felt the same adrenaline and respect plus additional emotion as when it first went down. Both of these women are absolute inspirations. Joanna is right, being the winner for yourself and showing your own bravest heart is far better and more important than any external accolade or praise. Utmost respect to these two champions.

because WMMA is so underdeveloped it's rare to see such a high-skill matchup between champions like this, I can only really think of Grasso-Shevchenko as a similar rivalry - incredible stuff

She is. Her run and title defenses have not even come close to being beaten. At one time, JJ was being called the best striker, in the ufc period. So whether or not people agree its irrelevant because that was the narrative for years and she backed it up
