Undeserved if you ask me. The fight against Mayweather was an embarrassment, a marketing success, but a complete embarrassment. It was the moment where I stopped being a fan. How he went after him in the beginning, flailing about, and then seeing him get tired by round 6 was embarrassing to watch. When all he had to do is pace himself. Practically falling over himself by the end. Connor got that money from marketing.

Conor fought so much better when 60 grand was a big amount of money, he's that rich now he's probably getting 60k a day in interest on its own, I can't see him getting anywhere near the position of becoming a word champion again.

No doubt!.. don't like the guy personally, he elevated and evolved the sport! ... But in the meantime the division was catching up and also evolved and it shows..people forget MMA is actually still in it's mid twenties which means, there's yet to be explored

@@csrdowms1356 I'm prolly Connie's no.1 hater out here, but to deny that he came in like a storm and captured titles in two weight divisions and put the world on notice and elevated the popularity of the sport, ur in denial!..I'm happy the other guys in the division and the sport overall understand its just as mental as anything else, so in that sense he did evolve the game... I'm not a big fan of estrogen filled fighters all up in there feelings when they fight, sorta like u and ur estrogen filled comments!

It may not have been shown in this clip but the Griffin and Bonner fight is what launched the UFC to a new height as they punched each other in the face the whole fight and nobody backed down. I was watching this on our local channel and it gave me chills watching these two warriors battled it out as the whole crow just stood up until the end. I won't forget "So you want to be an ultimate fighter" line by the commentator.

Recently I've been watching a lot of Junior Dos Santos' old fights and boy was he a special fighter in his prime. He had some of the most technical striking in all of MMA. I miss prime JDS.
