How was Nate's thrashing of Conor a comeback?? he was never getting beaten badly leading up to the submission. it was pretty even the rest of the fight, yes he was cut up but thats because he Nate Diaz, hes had to fight whoever was put in front of him, he didnt get pampered with tailored match ups like McGregor did his whole career.

Never thought of Gaethje vs Johnson as a comeback victory but I guess you could with the two big moments by Johnson until Gaethje had his significant turn. Gotta say though, Justin Gaethje is the only man in the UFC ever to have two simultaneous knockouts lol. when you get caught in a sub like that, you freak out and flight or fight kicks in. you're only thinking about how to get out and naturally, you know the one strategy that will 100% work is tapping. factor in that 99% of the time that happens, its in training and there are no real consequences, it's unfair to judge when a person is faced with that dilemma during the 1% where it matters most. but then again, you're probably undefeated with a heart of a lion and a will that would strike fear in justin gaethje so your opinion matters more than mine.
