Weidman was only like +150 when he beat Anderson and I bet on him. This fight is only shocking after round 1 because I thought Weidman was toast, he was definitely breathing heavy and feeling the moment. Rewatching before the take down at 4:52 you can see Ronda actually sparked Holly which made her go for the panic takedown. Ronda didn’t do as bad as I thought she did looking back, especially being a primarily ground game opponent compared to Holly’s years of kickboxing.

What’s crazy about the UFC is, Rhonda is such a 1 trick pony but it worked for so long. In this fight she looked like such a rookie, but she was the best of the best. What’s even more crazy is that Holm went on to lose her next fight, to someone Rhonda beat up multiple times. UFC is a trip. And then also Holm sucked as a champ, and a non champ. Rhonda sucked as a champ, and non champ. The women’s division was pretty bizarre then. And these un-skippable ads every freakn minute are bullshit too lol. The only thing Ronda has was her judo, that’s it, yeah I know she knocked out Bethe Correia with one lucky punch. This fight exposed Ronda as a one dimensional fighter, no head movement, flat foot.
