Cormier v. Gus was INSANITY. At the build everybody counted DC out and he was hated for taking the vacant title from a roided, coked Jones that was forced tovacate. This put a lot of respect on DC's name. Crazy how people forget how good DC is.

I still consider this fight as Mc Gregor's first time he had to dig deep, and one of his greatest fights as well. Painful & exhausting. Mendes fought like a lion, and was very close to make it in my opinion, yet winner was one. Both warriors shown heart in this great show. Miss both !!!

Literally the first fight put me off MMA. Mendes was all over McGregor. He had him grounded several times. Then the second McGregor gets a good punch in and Mendes goes to ground, the ref takes his chance to stop the fight for a McGregor win. Say it’s a fix without saying it’s a fix.

The very first UFC fight that I watched was Maurice Smith vs. Mark Coleman, from there I really became a fan, even watched UFC 1 onwards as well. From Sean Sherk, BJ Penn, GSP, Anderson, Silva, Chuck Lidell, Jon Jones, Cain Velasquez, Rousey, Amanda Nuñes and so on up to this new era of Topuria, Aspinall, Dricus, Makachev and so on
