What do you mean by trying to make Jon look good? There is no trying. He is more than good, a one in a million fighter, but yes - I do agree that he is heavily avoiding Tom Aspinall for now and picking Stipe in this time instead of years ago is a bad move on his part. Do not get it twisted though, Aspinall showed in his last two fights that he is VERY open for a big shot that could be capitalized on in the future. I wouldn't be surprised if he does get caught bad.

Ngannou and Aspinall should be at the top of this list hahaha. Ngannou is the most dangerous puncher, and Aspinall has a 100% finishing rate, 7 finishes since 2020, 5 finishes in the first round, all fighters who are in the top 10. It makes absolutely no sense. The UFC loves Jon "Boned" Jones, even though he has 2 finishes in the last 11 years.
