Chimaev/Burns is one of my favorite fights ever, it was somewhat early on in me being a fan and it’s such a war. Seeing Chimaev have his first legit challenge was crazy. Disappointed he’s slowed down his activity so much, should be champ or competed for the belt by now.

@Hariomxo nate won round 3. It's not how you start its how you finish and if conor actually thought he hurt nate he wouldn't be so scared to follow up on the ground and finish the fight. Nate came closer to finishing conor than conor did nate. That's a fact.

@cha0s1999 first round was Connor. I'd give the edge to nate the second. Conor was literally running from nate in the third and took about 100 punches to the face. Nate bleeding in the 4th helped Conor out, but Conor barely capitalized on it. And in the 5th Conor had no gas left and got slapped multiple times. Youre on Crack my man. Conor barely survived. I'd give the fight to nate 3 to 2.

I have loved Diego since the original season of TUF. He was literally unaware that he had any chance of losing a fight back then. He was undefeated and on his way to a welterweight title shot, and they threw him in there with Koscheck back in Josh’s lay and pray days, and he just pinned Diego to the mat for 15 minutes. Then he went down to lightweight and got his title shot against the best version of BJ Penn ever. He was jumping out of swimming pools from being completely submerged, to landing feet first on the pool deck. Diego had no chance against BJ regardless, but god almighty he got the most unstoppable version of The Prodigy. In fact Diego got the title shot off his performance against Guida. (Sorry for the essay. I watched most of these live and I love when the young bucks get to see the old skill sets, and cast of legendary characters do their thing. Enjoy the fights, y’all! Commentary really can paint a different picture, even if it's very subtle. Fight was super close but Burns was doing better in exchanges sometimes but Rogan and Felder were star struck

Gustafsson round 1,3 - Jones round 4,5. It comes down to the 2nd round. The only thing Jones had goin for him that 2nd round were 2 good head kicks, but does that really win over everything Alex threw against Jones that round? Tight af, I would've scored it a draw.

Both of you are correct. UFC already had a massive following before McGregor. Technically 90 percent of people could be people or ufc fans. However McGregor brought in a lot of new younger fans from social media. McGregor brought in a lot of Irish fans & European fans. But for the most part ufc was long established before McGregor, all McGregor did was go viral on social media for talking trash. So the kids from socials came over to ufc. That’s literally it. Edit; also McGregors star is only as big as it is thanks to Mayweather. Without Mayweather the A side. Conor never shoots that hard into mainstream America.
