Also let's give credit to Joe rogan here for being absolutely brilliant for mentioning the possibility of a historic 3 devisions champions opportunity for Alex if he wants it, and than asking the fans in the arena and waiting for their reactions.......my god it was just perfect. If alex really gets it and it's against Jon jones am predicting it now alex will become the new biggest ufc ppv star and he may surpass conor in that regarde.

@nikobellic9004
@nikobellic9004 5 ай бұрын
@@servantofallah9425 they said the same thing about Ali nobody will be bigger until Mike tyson and came and than dela Hoya came and was bigger and than pacquiao came etc. And last time i checked conor actually never surpassed pacquiao or gaywhether as ppv stars so keep that in mind. Stars are getting bigger and bigger over time and it's inevitable somebody will come in the ufc a d will be surprise conor in star power, just like chick liddell was surpassed, and silva and than gsp and tan round rousey and than after that broke lesnar. So far we'll only got fake starts that wanted to be low budget version of conor and it didn't work out for them because they are just copy, but alex is different he is his own person. All the other biggest ppv star in history surpassed each other by being themselves and not being weak copy of each other. And that's why o'malley and topuria will never become next level ppv stars, it lay because average ppv stars at best. If alex pereira fights for the heavyweight title at the end of this year against Jon jones he will break any ppv numbers conor vs Hachiko (or the bellator guy) will do. And if alex (his chances aren't good but not impossible) beats jones he will become the biggest ppv star in the ufc.

@@gopolanglekoto if alex fights for 3 division champion or wins he will absolutely become the biggest star (or at least it's very likely) . The rouda rousey fanboys also cried that conor was never going to surpass her as the biggest ufc ppv star and what happened? he did, every single star in combat sport of the past got eventually surpassed by the next generation. But we will see in the future if I was right or wrong. People are just ignorant and to arrogant to admit the possibility and than are chocked and dumbfounded when it happens. And the one who forsaw the possibility can proudly brag that they saw the possibility.

@@FentyMixxAbsolutely, it seems like Dana wants Jones to fight Stipe and then Retire. Even Alex would be a tougher fight than Stipe at this point, especially if Jones is unable to take down Alex quickly. Tom Aspinall and Alex Pereira could expose some serious holes on Jon Jones (maybe even KO him), so they want the most low risk and high reward scenarios. Alex could fight Jones after Stipe (especially if Alex beats Magomed), so that’s a possible fight for next year.

Sure but let's not forget that he hasn't faced a decent wrestler yet in his entire UFC career. Dana keeps feeding him strikers because he knows they'll get decimated and he can keep building up hype for his cash cow. Jiri literally got 2 title shots almost back to back while Ankalaev is still waiting on a much deserved chance at the title. He just keeps getting screwed over because Dana knows he's an actual threat to Alex. The most wrestling Pereira has faced since he joined the UFC came from Adesanya ffs, that says enough. And I say this as a massive Pereira fan, but let's just not be delusional

It was early on in his career and he was still learning how to strike in mma, so it's hard to say- Izzy wanted that fight because he knew Alex was still getting used to the octagon- I don't believe he ever wins another bout against Alex at MW of LHW and I don't believe he ever gives Alex another chance to fight him.
