There should never be a rematch for this fight. If you just look at the speed difference, and you know the technique is highly favored for Poatan. I'm guessing Poatan is 1.25 times the speed of Jamahal in striking. It should be much closer, unless Hill was injured or unprepared?

There's a set of rules for a fight to be ruled a no contest, Pereira putting his hand up to Herb for 1.3 seconds is nowhere in that rulebook.

Looking at this KO, two things stand out. 1. Pereira's power easily translates to LHW. Didn't even hit Jamahal flush and he fell like a tree. 2. Strickland's chin is massively underrated. He got hit full force to the jaw by that same hook and just took a knee. It took two follow-ups to drop him.

Your chin doesn't get better as you get bigger. Pereira has put on at least 10-15lbs of muscle and doesn't have to cut like crazy to stay in MW, making his punching power more significant now than in MW.
