Alexander the Great is a TANK of a man. He isn't going anywhere. Huge up's for the bravery shown when he allowed to world to see him grieve. Shows mental fortitude, and levity as a human. Impossible not to love this man if your a fight fan.

Lol Illia Topuria is not Arnold Allen tho. He’s literally a once in a generation 26 year old fighting phenom with the IQ and discipline of a 35 year old GSP or Volk/Max when they were fighting for the 2nd and 3rd time. He’s WAY advanced for his age and not even close to his prime yet I don’t think people understand the absolute disastrous tsunami that’s emerging in that 145 division.. Do i think he’s gonna finish Volk in 1 round? Obviously not. But over the course of 5 rounds I believe this will be Volks toughest challenge which is saying ALOT and I do believe Topuria can have a Cody/Cruz showcasing because he really is THAT good in every single department and only improving where as Volk has not only hit his ceiling but as we’ve seen time and time again Father Time is undefeated and surely he’s not coming into this match stronger and faster than he did his last 4 fights especially coming off a KO loss

@@sneakerhead2830 you forgot ilia’s sloppy defense .. showcased by his last fight Emmet Smith . Volk how ever is so good he had to go up a weight class for a real legit challenge. Ilia vs Islam isn’t even a possibility because he’s not that good yet. Later maybe but right now he’s a prodigy that’s bout to learn a valuable lesson. Fight and beat the top 5 then you’re champ .. not dodge everyone and use your hype for a lucky shot at the title.

Contrary to his nickname "The Great", Alex Volkanovski is one of the most humble, down-to-earth guys in the game rn...he knows his strengths, he's aware of his weaknesses and he don't take NO Sh🤬! 👊 😂 No but Seriously, the guys a *BEAST* ...and a great Ambassador for the sport. I'm really glad to hear him talking about taking his passion for fighting into something else productive after he's done, I think a lot of guys get stuck after retiring with nothing to do and end up turning to drugs or let CTE take over. I hold both fighters in the highest respect, but don’t be sad if topuria knocks volk out cold in the pocket. Illia has proven himself in my books even if he hasn’t fought a top 3 opponent, he has been putting on pure masterclasses, he’s so skilled in every area.
