I like both guys, and I think Ilia will be champion someday, However I am hoping Volk gets a couple more defenses. He's been one of the best champions we've had of recent time, both inside and out of the octagon. A true testament to what a champion should be. It's going to be a great fight. I've been a fan of volk, I think he's a warrior but this guy Illia, comes from a different mold. His technique is sound, it's hard to find any flaws and he's quite determined. I don't see him being denied. He's hungry and executes his brutal nonstop style until he finishes his opponent. He takes no prisoners. In this fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog that determines the winner.

Call me crazy but i see volk worrying too much right now about this family and he said that he “needs” to win. I think he is puting too much pressure on himself, while ilia is just confident and very calm. I think ilia not only gonna win, but he is gonna perform like he never did before

I really hope Volk doesn’t try and prove anything in this fight. I hope he uses his wrestling early and ragdolls this guy. I have a feeling he’s going to try and stand up and box him to redeem his loss but that’s the worst thing he can do. I think his standup is better but getting clipped is still his biggest chance of loosing.

Volk gave Makhachev his hardest fight in their first bout. I think Volk takes this fight but not as easy as ppl are saying. We saw that Makhachev was able to brilliantly hold his own in the striking and edged out points. There’s no reason Illia can’t do the same, I think it’s Volks grappling that will be the differentiator here
