Jules D It’s been said that Jim Norton is difficult to work with. He also may not be fully invested in MMA. That’s what started happening with O&A and Anthony and Jim I think. He’s also been said to be very unprofessional on radio at times. I do appreciate Matt Serra with his passion and knowledge.

@@reedrex1 do you even listen to the podcast ? Matt Serra is so self centered it's very obnoxious. He's always talking about himself. Always complaining. He only does okay when he is reading off questions and even then he fucks up and then blames the producers. I'd rather have phoenix carnivale ND Jim Norton Who the hell wants to hear Matt talk about his cyst in his knee and being a hall of famer at the same time he is eating afucking protein bar loud as fuck in the mic
@reedrex1
@reedrex1 5 жыл бұрын
Jules D depends who’s telling it. All about perception vs reality. If you here Opie tell it, it sounds like a case of Opie dealing with a couple of ingrates in Anthony and Jim going behind his back for years on end. This could be attributable to his perceived manic behavior. If you here Anthony and or Jim tell it , Opie is a tyrannical control freak. Opinions and assholes sort of dilemma. It was Opie’s show that Anthony and Jim got a huge boost in their careers from. The way Opie tells it they began to grow resentful of his control of the show and took measures to back door him. Opie not being considered funny makes him less credible to some I suppose. Their is a-lot to unpack with that dynamic. It suspicious that Opie and Jim also had a split show format towards the end before becoming the jim and sam show.
@reedrex1
@reedrex1 5 жыл бұрын
JustTryAgainTomorrow X admittedly not much at all anymore. But when I was more dedicated I never saw Serra as an unintelligible boob. I saw him as someone perhaps trying to be funnier than he naturally was coming across as grating. It doesn’t take away from his knowledge of the sport. Norton was said to have issues with professionalism and disloyalty towards the end of his last run.

As I see it,For what it's worth. 1. Wonder Boy was whooping Anthony's butt. All the way up till the Superman punch..Sooo 2. He keeps making up this imaginary beef between him and Nate..Seems like he's in his own head no room for Nate at this point.. probably doubting himself like crazy.. 3.. he can't see Nate one on one fist to fist head up... so he's definitely going to come out with leg kicks trying to copycat McGregor's success.... I know so many people are going to say something about me mentioning the leg kicks.. this is my own opinion.. however I'm not wrong often.. 4. Since Anthony's only key to success is through taking out Nate's ability to stand on his leg and move. That is it will finally show us all what I've been saying about him for a long time.. he needs a lucky shot for success check his highlight reel. 5..Nate is the real deal 6..To the comment section.No I'm not an MMA fighter and both of them would whoop me. I don't mind that you don't like my opinion, then (derogatory reply)

@@bilbobagins4305 to be honest with you this fight is literally the same fight as the Nate Connor fight. The only difference is Anthony has bjj skills. Connor hit Nate with brutal shots in that second fight and could only drop Nate not KO him. So we have to assume Anthony has better knock out power than Connor to KO him. Which I don't see how.

@@34672rr when does nate ever take leg kicks? 😂. Ben Henderson beat nate with leg kicks. Thompson who isn't a kicker beat nate with kicks. RDA beat nate with leg kicks. Maynard and Johnson were the only ones he beat who didn't do low kicks. The first fight conor was trying to take nates head off with punched and gassed himself out. Second fight he fought smart and used low kicks. And conor isn't a heavy kicker

Pettis had 1 good win against Wonderboy , kinda lucky, and now hes feeling himself a little too much. Nate will probably lose the first 1.5 rounds then take over and finish him late in the third by TKO

nah, he's coming off the wonderboy KO, which has NEVER been done before, not even by woodley. It was lucky, he was getting beat, but that is a big confidence boost. This is an interesting fight, because we don't know how good of shape Nate is in after 3 years. It looks like a decision with a slight edge for pettis
