Knew as soon as I watched the Dan Hardy breakdown Dustin had this. Dan has a great way of giving fighters the one key focus to win and you can tell Dustin executed. The goal was to get past 90 seconds when his adrenaline settles, and he did just that with the take down. Universe made the right call tonight, Dustin deserved to be the legend in the HOF that seperated McGregor from consciousness with his hands.

The most important change this man made in my opinion was his mental outlook. Most people let Connor get inside their heads and they were defeated before the fight. Another guy I think that could have beat McGregor but he does not have the right mind set for championship bouts, which surprises me, was Cowboy Cerrone. He always fought amazing until he made the championship and something mental held him back, is how I saw it. Great to see Dustin break the mental stranglehold and have the go for broke, Rocky 2 attitude.
