Yeah true. But the hate is pretty justified since he wasted two years of his career and is shaking it off as if he's fine with it, but now gets rewarded a fight that could get him back in title contention if he wins. That's dumb, and doesn't deserve it cuz he's done Nothing but lose lol

Doesn't matter to true fans. Who cares if someone is undefeated if every fight is boring and the fighter takes the safest route to victory - ala lay and pray - because he is scared of losing dominant position. Fighters like Jon Jones, Fedor Emelianenko and Demetrius Johnson are the true GOATs because they fought their opponents at their strengths, not scared, and believing in their fight IQ and skills. Chandler puts his everything into every fight, lose or win, you know its gonna be entertaining and worth the money. Fighters like Belal wont ever pull in a good revenue. Company will go minus with him because he is too scared to fight outside of his lay and pray

@LLTHEDON 13 күн бұрын
@@YakubTheScientist8841 Michael Chandler is indeed known for his explosive and high-energy starts, but as you pointed out, this often leads to a decline in stamina and output as the fight progresses. Here are some points that support this observation: 1. Aggressive Style and Full Power Early On Chandler is recognized for his aggressive, almost sprint-like pace, especially in the first round. His approach often involves intense bursts of offense right from the start, which includes power punches, fast movement, and takedown attempts. This has led to some highlight-reel moments, like his fast knockdowns against opponents such as Charles Oliveira and Dan Hooker, where he took the initiative to apply pressure and establish dominance early. 2. High Output and Power Shots He tends to load up on almost every strike, throwing with knockout intent from the very beginning. This "go big or go home" mentality showcases his wrestling-based explosiveness and raw power, which can overwhelm opponents initially but also drains energy. His muscular build, advantageous for wrestling power and explosive striking, tends to burn through his gas tank faster, especially when he throws heavy, energy-consuming strikes back-to-back. 3. Cardio and Decline in Later Rounds While Chandler is a high-level athlete with excellent training, his cardio has appeared to suffer when he doesn't secure a finish early. His aggressive style relies heavily on anaerobic energy, which uses fast-twitch muscle fibers that deplete quicker. This is evident in fights where he noticeably slows down in later rounds, such as against Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier, where he started strong but began fading as the rounds progressed. His opponents in those fights took advantage of this to turn the tide as Chandler’s speed and power waned. 4. Vulnerability in Defense and Fatigue As fatigue sets in, Chandler’s defense also suffers. He tends to drop his hands and get caught in exchanges. With his energy drained, he’s more susceptible to absorbing strikes, which was evident when Oliveira capitalized in their bout. His slightly reduced reflexes in later rounds make him more vulnerable, as he can no longer rely as much on his wrestling or evasive maneuvers. 5. Psychological Factor of “All-or-Nothing” Chandler’s approach could also be attributed to a psychological tendency to go all-out early on, relying on the idea of securing an early victory rather than risking a prolonged battle. This sometimes creates a mental pressure that works against him when the early finish doesn’t come, as he’s forced into survival mode rather than maintaining a controlled pace. In summary, Chandler’s explosive, high-energy style makes him a serious threat in the opening minutes, but this same intensity is what leads to his gradual decline in later rounds, as his powerful style isn’t as sustainable across a full-length fight. It’s a strategy that works best with early finishes but exposes him to risk if his opponents can withstand that initial onslaught.

The Tony Ferguson fight is when Chucky came looking like an elite level striker and his offense has only gotten better. He has no wasted movement in his strikes, zero. Picture perfect form. Now if Mr.Olives would learn how to defend himself he wouldnt get dropped every fight.

Oliveira has a well designed battle physique. Casuals don’t understand this but with time they can.
