Lol .. what do you think this is ? Learning to ride a bike ?! It takes years to make up for his lack of grappking skills and knowledge. Even developing a solid championship level takedown defence will take him probably 2 years.

Spivak is a meat and potatoes grappler. If Gane gets dominated and outmuscled with basic grappling he really is an imposter and hasn't tried to improve. I would not be surprised if Spivak uses his basic headlock judo throw that he uses on everyone that you saw Rousey pull off on all the cans the UFC lined up for her. Gane has to knock Sergei out early or he's going to get embarrassed again. Aspinall and Almeida would take Gane down in the first minute and sub him.

Together with Jon Jones Ciryl is physically the most gifted heavyweight the ufc has ever seen. He is very young and it is incredible he already earned an intermediate heavyweight ufc world champion strap only 3 years after starting to learn mma! He did have excellent kickboxing skills which carried him through his first titlerun. He had almost no jiujitsu or grappling at all. Ciryl Gane has really only just started and is learning quickly. I still firmly believe he is the future. His speed. and kicking skills are unheard of for a heavyweight. Jon overall has way too much experience over him but when Jon retires he will become champion. His gentle and humorous character makes him likeable and combined with his incredible physique he has all the ingredients for becoming a potential global sports superstar. Soon he will be unstoppable. Let's go Ciryl !!!

Got bested in a BO5 by a no-knee Ngannou that needed surgery. He seems good but that’s because the division is stagnant and there was only really Ngannou, Ciryl, Miocic, and a returning Jon Jones. Then Ngannou left, Miocic is fighting his age, and that just leaves Ciryl and Jones and on his debut fight in heavyweight manages to get a TKO in less than 3min in the first round against Ciryl. It was just too easy for Jones. Heavy weight divison is literally a bum division right now if their wasn’t Jon Jones.

Ciryl has no grappling. Sergei has way more power and basic grappling advantage over Ciryl. Aspinall and Almeida would sub Gane in the first round. He will never be champ unless all the top fighters retire. Gane can't beat Blaydes. He would get humped for 5 rounds.

Ciryl has a lot of fouls such as eye poking, back of the head shots, and groin kicks. He smiles and people seem to forget it. But he will piece Spivak up and I think he wins this one easily. Hopefully Pavlovich stops ducking him.
