@@XxHorseshoeXx JG took the time and recovered from the eye pokes. He was predictable and kept ducking/pushing his punches. Max somehow just tanked the leg kicks and beat him in the exchanges. Max was better and KO'd him with a clear 4 round lead in the final seconds using good boxing.

Justin's power is pretty overrated. Edie Alvarez walked through his best punches, as did Fiziev, as did Poirier in fight 1 (a kick can KO anybody), as did Oliveira. Khabib walked him down as well.

When I managed to take home the VHS of UFC 1 that was being passed around my high school, that was considered a 'video nasty', I never thought that 30 years later I'd be there last night witnessing the UFC bringing me the greatest night of combat sports ever. I've been along for the ride, and I think Dana has done an amazing job, taking this brand from darker days til the present spotlight. Not to mention the roster, that's always ready to bring it. And yes, when I watched Holloway's KO last night I did think 'Holy Shit!' and I instantly recognised that as one of, if not the most, amazing moments the UFC history. Keep it up guys.

It is a tricky situation. If fighters get paid more, then they will do more point fighting and make more "business decisions," and fight like Floyd Mayweather. It is a very fine balance. We don't want the sport to turn into boxing, but we also want the fighters to get fair pay.

However, I believe the fear of getting KOd and ridiculed will always hold fighters back, especially fighters who are hated by the fans. For example, in so many fights, a fighter is told by his corner that he is losing and he needs a finish to win the fight, but the fighter still fights the last round as if he was ahead. Most fighters are like this, and I don't believe a bigger bonus will make them overcome the fear of a brutal KO and ridiculed by the fans. LOL
