When Merab dominated Sean O Malley (a 29 year old), Dana said that Sean looked slow and not like himself. When Strickland dominated Adesanya, Dana said the same thing. Now Jones fights a 42 year old Stipe who was obviously way too old and now Dana is saying that Stipe looked great.

His d riding of Jon is honestly just weird to me. Jon has never been a company man and had brought lots of negative attention to the company. Plus it was clear stipe was a shell of what he used to be. His punches looked slow and not nearly as powerful as they used to be, he was flat footed, had zero head movement and choose to stay at kicking range with a great kicker. I didn’t think stipe would look as good as he used to but I also didn’t think he’d look at bad as he did.

Yes, it was a really sad card. Miocic wanted a last pay check before pension. Chandler is always the same dmb fighter, he's 2-4 in the UFC and somehow he's considered a super fighter, when in reality he won 2 times and 1 was against Tony decrepit Ferguson. The card was pretty weaker, only carried by names near retirement.

Anyone who thinks Jones beats Tom based on that performance is delusional. Even though Jones won comfortably, he looked nervous, gun shy, very slow and old. Tom is young, fast and determined, he has all the motivation and skills to win. Jones has almost no reason to keep going and was even teetering on retirement himself. I love Jones and Stipe, they’re warriors and legends… But I hate seeing these old guys continue to try and take on the new generation, it doesn’t matter how good you once were, Father Time is undefeated. Even Ali and Tyson found this out the hard way, and I’d hate to see it happen to jones retiring on an L.
