We all have our opinions but this is how i saw it: The camera man was briefly following Jones. Jon went to talk to his teammate who won and made friendly and honest jokes. The guy won, why give him bullshit compliments? Then Jones went to Talk to his other coach Greg who was in the same room as guida who was warming up. Maybe Jon didn't want to disturb Guida's warmup. Maybe Jon decided to talk to Greg first. Idk im just playing Devil's advocate. : )

Vlogs are insane... love them, but only criticism is that the camera guy needs to step up his focusing skills, missing tons of reactions from people out of focus.

That was pretty cool.. It would make a really interesting documentary project, to follow Rampage, into his remaking of himself with another organization. If I had the seed money to do it.. I would. It would make for a good project.

Love these Vlogs, man I don't know what to say about Rampage, I'm a big fan and have supported him through the good and the bad. I don't know, maybe its time for him to retire. His timing is really off, there were moments in that fight where he could have countered Glover like he did against Chuck and Wand, yet they never came. Rampage was so good at ducking and rolling and then coming with a counter, he had the chance here, but didn't do it. Hope for the best for Rampage in whatever he does.

Machida was just after fighting in August, didn't take a fight at UFC 152, three weeks before UFC 153. Not to mention he and Silva won't fight. Gustafsson and Shogun were scheduled to fight in December, and Shogun was just after fighting in August. Rampage pulled out of 153, Glover wanted to wait for Rampage. Rashad was contemplating a move to MW. Anderson and Lil'Nog won't fight and no one knew what was going on with Lil' Nog. Hendo was injured. Phil Davis was scheduled for the Prado…..

Where is the ufc 156 pre-fight press conference that is supposed to be the day before weigh ins?
@benkordus88612 жыл бұрын
I love all the vlogs, but this one seems a lot more "choppy" than normal. Just when Pettis' music is gonna hit, they cut it. -I was there and the place exploded. Wish we'd get more story oriented with these (and most have been in the past)rather than quick random clips.

I'm not looking at Condit in the same light as Lutter, I never would because that's ridiculous. I was just posing a question should Condit lose three or four fights over the next couple of years, would you argue with people who'll knock GSP's record because his opponents don't have a good recent record?
@KCIAN212 жыл бұрын
You may not know this, but Anderson used to fight at WW. He had to move up for the very same reason Jones and Aldo are going to have to move up, because his body was too big for WW, it's not too big at MW. The likes of Sonnen, Munoz, Weidman, Boetsch, Stann, Bisping etc. are a lot bigger than Anderson. It's not his fault either that we haven't seen the same level of fighters at MW as we have at LHW, WW or LW.

hahahah awesome how lorenzo tried to get dana back with the cheese in the suit pocket
@emppupelikone12 жыл бұрын
you owned that kid lol. Me personally I dont like Jon Jones at all, but I think the part of when he was laughing at his teammate for falling down was more of a friend thing. If your close with someone you can and will make fun of them. Also trying to come up with a reason as to why he didnt go wish Guida luck, maybe he didnt want to bother him, who knows. Anyways, Im not a Jon Jones fan by any means I actually kind of despise him for when he beat Rampage. :)
@ShotgunDiplomat12 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's true. Their grappling skills could cancel each other out which would then turn it into somewhat of an entertaining fight because Maia's striking has improved since his loss to Anderson, but I've yet to see a Fitch fight in which he didn't at least attempt a takedown.

@eXcRaiNmaN12 жыл бұрын
He's not ducking anyone. He's a middleweight fighter who has volunteered to fight a few guys at 205. He could beat that entire list of people, he just has his reasons for not wanting to fight at 205 hardcore yet.

a 4-fight winning streak. The man who I alluded to in my last point who shared the joint longest winning streak in the MW division at the time was Thales Leites. He was next in line at UFC 97, and had grew his winning streak to 5. As for Lutter, he got his shot for the very same reason Matt Serra got his shot at GSP. They could have very well had HW's LHW's during that TUF season and had Wes Sims and Mike van Arsdale face Tim Sylvia and Chuck Liddell, respectively.

how long does the card last anyways?

Whats the song playing after Rampage loses? Sounds sorta like a Pride theme remix..
@TheScydeFX12 жыл бұрын
Yeah good points, but BJJ is about more than submissions, I hope Maia can pull off a sweep and if he does, Fitch will not last long, not on the bottom, but I'll be surprised if Fitch bothers taking him down at all, Maia can't take him down, and Fitch is better standing up, so we may not see anything on the ground.
