My favorite part was watching Greg and Rashad share a moment together after all the drama they have gone through leading up to the fight. Life is too short to hold grudges against those who have helped us make a living.
@SwimTaylor12 жыл бұрын
maybe, but look at the guys who have tried to rush in and fight Jones aggressive. Rashad is the only guy to not be finished by the Champion version of Jones. That says something. Rashad could have fought this fight like the machida fight but i think the results would have been similar.

Every time I watch these vlogs reminds me why I love this sport- class. 95% of them show respect to someone they just knocked out/ got knocked out by.

Man, it's so tough for me to see a fighter after a loss. I couldn't imagine how they are feeling, its so much more than a loss to them. Nothing but respect. How people can talk trash about these guys, is beyond me.

Would like to see some crowd reactions during the fight. That was something I loved in the old blogs.

Rashad is the guy who did the best performance against jones. he rocked him couple of times and the first man to get jones on his back (5th round) and the first man to go 5 rounds with jones looking fine after the fight.. he got my respect.

Gregg Jackson doesn't always pick sides with his team mates. But when he does, he trains the favourite.

Rashad's strategy was to fight scared, throw 1 or 2 punches a round and go the distance without attempting to win. You succeeded Rashad.

Evans knows he didn't leave it all out there, perhaps fought not to lose instead of fighting to win. So hard to get things going against Jones.

I'll ride with Belcher and Diaz. Don't know about Barry/Johnson. And Koshcheck/Hendricks really is like a mirror with same fight styles, skills, plus southpaw vs orthodox. I guess Hendricks would have the edge standing for that reason. So either he'll get the finish or Koshcheck by decision will be my prediction. Dana might be giving out more than one FON bonus on Saturday. Great match ups
@gh0s7drummer13 жыл бұрын
yeah I saw that too, but Evans just pushed him along, he was still emotional from the loss. Understandable.

He was still doing great. He won the first I think. And 2nd he was still scaring Jones and controlling the pace. After, specially with those elbows and not listening to his corner he froze. He even said that he froze some 3rd, 4th, 5th. He let Jones get comfortable and start doing his magic. Rashad could have done a lot better and he knows it. Even still, he gave Jones his toughest fight yet. If he wins 2-3 in a row convincingly and Jones still champion maybe rematch.
@epp668113 жыл бұрын
One of Rashad's weaknesses is that he's too cautious that was the problem when he fought Machida and now Jones

Good point. Finally someone with a brain who realized Jon Jones isn't on the BEST level yet. Not saying he's bad..cause obviously he's not, but to say hes on Silva's level is insane. Silva makes his opponents look stupid because he's so good and toys with them. Jones on the other hand, while he dominates, he doesn't make it seem easy. With rashad and rampage and machida, you could tell Jon was getting tired and also worried a bit. He sticks his hand out and plays defensive as well.

Kind of looked like he was looking for a pattern and Jones wouldn't give him any. Thats why he's so cool to watch because he's unpredictable, like Anderson.

I wish someone with a good camp would fight Jones. Rashad's a great fighter, but you can't rely on Van Arsdale to be your strategy guy. When someone gets in there who uses trip takedows, body shots, and a lot of leg kicks, Jones isn't going to be able to coast.

The guy is right on the note that Anderson's wrestling is mediocre, which is why the majority of his loses were from submission.Both have unorthodox striking too.Its a tough call because (taking no sides) Jon has amazing wrestling and takedown skills and some pretty mean striking abilities. Silva has phenomenal striking and ground game. I mean if Silva does choose Jon to fight in his new 10 fight contract and loses, you'll probably say "Hes not 100%" or "just cause hes older now, but before..."

ALL main events from now on will be 5 rounds, before it was just PPV and UFC on FOX main events and title matches that were co-mains that would go 5 rounds but the Ellenberger-Sanchez fight made Dana change his mind and all main events booked from here on in, including UFC on FOX and UFC on Fuel TV will go 5 rounds. This didnt apply to the recent FX and Fuel cards as they were booked before the decision was made.

i MOST DEFINITELY concur!!!! Anderson has wiped out the WHOLE MIDDLEWEIGHT DIVISION....."TWICE!!!!!!". And not only like GSP who GRINDS OUT DECISIONS,"The Spider" finishes them.....no questions asked.I like watching Chael Sonnen,he can talk all the B.S. he wants about a "Fake Belt" and YES he did beat up Anderson for over 4 Rounds,BUT,it was Mr. Sonnen was the 1 who tapped out and gave up!!!!!!!
