I watch Derek's UFC career going back and forth, ups and downs but he never give up, he fought againts the best, 6 World Champions & 2 TUF Winners. A Huge Underdog.

People use the term "Gate Keeper" as disrespect, but I think Derek truly makes to be the greatest Gate Keeper any division has ever seen. The only guys to beat him go on to have a storied career. No flukes in this guys resume.

Brunson low key is a monster who has been ranked and beating all the non top 5 guys for the last decade. 37 and hes still top 10 and beating young up and coming guys. The guy outwrestled Romero in their fight. Hes been in the UFC a decade and the only guys hes lost to are Romero, Izzy, Whittaker, Jacare and Anderson.

It's kinda impressive brunson had a winning streak with finishes after his debut. Most people don't remember but his win over leben was text book lay and pray and he wasn't really going for a finish despite what he said here.

Brunson has become that fighter who falls short in the fights that would propel him upward but continues to put away the rising contenders on their way up. Almost like Romero but a little lower on the totem pole. Must be frustrating as hell...
