Dustin went through it all. Ups, downs, getting embarrassed by Conor, coming back and running through everyone in lightweight, losing to Khabib, avenging that Conor loss 2x, and now set to fight for the strap again. If he pulls it off it'll be a story for the ages.

Dustin is a dangerous, well calculated fighter that is very durable, has decent Jiu-Jitsu, a good chin and crisp Boxing. He has all the tools to finish Charles in round 1. With all that being said…. I got Charles by Guillotine choke round 3

Dustin's attitude - facial expression changed when the reporter spoke on his whole family being there for this fight-week. in-particular his daughter - "this is not a big deal to her" she's grown up thru it; I loved hearing that, made me smile. Seeing pride in it's most pure form, nothing quite like it..

It's a tough one to call. Both fighters are dangerous. Charles winning the belt was so wholesome, but I want to see Poirier just be the undisputed champ. Either Dustin clips him early or it'll be a 5 round decision for the Diamond.

@Zzzzzzdzzzzz Charles is probably top 5 maybe even top 3 bjj practioners of all time in the UFC, Dustin is capable but when someone has good wrestling and a diverse array of threats with subs like Khabib had and Charles has, he tends to crumble.

@Zzzzzzdzzzzz in simple terms, Poirier is black belt in BJJ but Oliviera is a third degree black belt at BJJ. He can catch anyone slipping from any point in a grappling exchange. All it takes is one mistake. I got Poirier by TKO but may the best man win.

@@mr.e6748 Charles is not as strong as Khabib though. In the Felder fight Charles said Felder was so much stronger than him that he was getting out of situations by pure brute force. Poirier is a big boy too, that might be a problem for Charles. Also, Oliveira defensive skills are not as good as his offense, specially when he's gassed. That's why he got submitted a few times. Those guilliotines by Poirier will be a dangerous for Charles if he shoots for a takedown while hurt or tired

I wanna cry after December 11 (December 12 in the Philippines tho) because my heart hurts seeing one of them lose. Oliveira became one of my faves after the Kevin Lee fight, but Poirier (yes, I'm rooting for him) is my all-time fave, and my personal fave fighter since 2017, so it's gonna hurt. I love how they respect each other. I love this fight and at the same time, this reminds me of 236 (Holloway-Poirier 2) where I'm sad of seeing who will lose the fight. 😭

You never know if people are really who they are in press conferences, but Dustin has always impressed me as a smart and thoughtful dude. He's paid his dues. May the best man win!

Love Dustin honestly probably my favorite fighter/person in the ufc. Then again respect Charles so damn much so this fight is huge to me

Both men are worthy champions . It's great to see two humble warriors , instead of the trash talking loud mouth clowns like Connor and the many wanna bees. The ufc needs decent human beings as champions to lift the sport . It is getting really tired the trash talking / fight hype build up to fights that everybody can see is clearly an act.

I enjoy watching Charles fight more from a technical aspect, but I like Dustin so much as a person. Both seem like great role models and will go down as legends. May the best man win.
