If Dustin had fought Conor at lightweight, he would've destroyed Conor the first time too, even at ufc 178. Dustin was actually outboxing conor in that fight. Dustin landed 10/19 strikes on conor, and conor landed 5/24 strikes on dustin before the finish. the reason dustin lost is because he was too drained at that weight class. you could see whenever conor was connecting, Dustin was getting rocked because he was so depleted it affected his chin. If Dustin had fought conor at LW that night, the hype train would've got derailed. and the Mac would've never have become champion.

I don't give a f*** what anybody says if you where ever an interim champ then you were a champion. if the real champ isn't able to fight then that means that the interim holder IS the champ at the moment. Yeah he may never be the official undisputed champion but regardless he will always have a champions belt hanging up at his crib the rest of his life.

Oliviera won vacant against Chandler that Poirier submitted and his single title defense was against him. Consider his missed weight a defense against Gaethje if you want, and Poirier pieced him up too

His most dangerous attribute is how he slips all these shots as he assaults them. Everybody thinks he’s gonna get caught coming in as he overwhelms these guys with so many punches but he’s fully focussed on the opponents movement- the punching is the autopilot.

The dude has such a crazy punch style. It's like a whip. The fist is coming out slow with his body and then just accelerates at the end of the punch. Sort of a variable speed in each punch, which makes it hard for his opponents to time and slip.
