Man one thing I notice about no commentary fights at apex is the coaching. Dustin’s coaches are top notch with guiding him every step of the way and also reinforcing the combos/setups that are working in real time. And Dustin listens to them very intently, often times saying yes sir. The dynamic they have is phenomenal and is part of the reason he remained atop the division for so long

The Dustin / Dan fight is, in my eyes, an instant HOF fight candidate. The 'newness' of the empty / near silent venue is very unique. How both fighter GAVE THEMSELVES to the fight, is something to behold. There were many many memorable exchanges but how Dan basically hate fk'd Dustin's head in the closing moments of the 2nd was just pure violence...kudos to Dustin for weathering those murderous hooks.

Man I still think these covid fights, TUF fights and any other training center fights with no crowd essentially, are just the best. Sure I get the argument for not having the hype of the fans but to have such clear audio of the impacts, foot movement and banter between fighters is absolute gold. It sort of removes a lot of elements and really makes momentum and technique so clear.

This is so much better than commentary. Please add an option to remove that on the PPV's. The talking heads are simply unnecessary for people who've been watching for years, they just state the obvious, push narratives downright to cheering for one guy or another and are just not funny when they try to be. We also don't need an "OWWWWW" everytime something lands, we can do that by ourselves while watching. Just put Anik in when he reads a sponsor ad and then cut him out again. Hearing the blows hitting, the floor of the cage rattling on a takedown, the crowd, it's just so much better.

Also running their mouths when they really have no clue what they’re talking about! That broadcast then goes out worldwide and stirs up unnecessary controversy bc some ppl are going to take what they said as FACT! Like the Weili/xiaonan fight when Cormier claims yans corner used smelling salt to wake her up then you get Rogan asking “is that legal?!” After the fight they realize that’s not what happened but by then the damage was already done.
