@@joshywhvick bjj only works if you can successfully take someone down. Max has amazing take down defense and Volk has a good wrestling background. Brian needed to learn some effective wrestling take downs or judo throws to make his bjj more effective but he never did that.

17:25 is one of the most iconic and hilarious Holloway moments ever... he stops Ortega mid fight from fighting to give him tips on how to block... it takes Ortega a few sec to realize what's going on and then snap out of it. this and "I'm the best boxer in the UFC!!!" are two of the mind blowing moments ever to happen in the octagon... except for Diaz laying down mid fight vs Anderson Silva.

Everybody (including myself) only recalls this due to the amount of strikes and how amazingly Holloway fought. I'm taking nothing away from him for that, but we need to gives more props to Ortega, not only for taking those shots but let's be real this wasn't a totally one-sided fight, he had some really good moments and had Max in real trouble at one point in the 3rd, he has such tremendous toughness and so much heart.

The third round was Ortega's best round, no doubt about that. However he had Max in trouble for how long, 5 seconds? He landed a few good hits that didn't faze Holloway that much neither and then he landed a takedown, with Max getting up straight away. I wouldn't say he had Max in real trouble here
