Ross Geller, PhD rnc’s are the highest percentage submissions by far. Here is a really cool study that broke down UFC submission statistics over the past 25 years. The fight doesn't end in a tap, it ends when the ref calls it. He held it for a second after the ref called it, which is still too long, but not 4 seconds.

Most dangerous submission. There's a reason they're not allowed in amateurs. Heal hooks you don't feel real pain until there's already damage done. The main way to defend a heal hook is by rolling. If you roll the wrong way and your opponent doesn't let go. You'll snap your knee and ankle just from the weight and momentum of your body.

When Rousimar Palhares got knocked out by Alan Belcher and couldn’t get the heel hook or knee bar. Was one of my favorite fights. Even Rogan was screaming to Belcher get out of there lol. When Palhares tried to roll Belcher into a knee bar.
