Ross Geller, PhD rnc’s are the highest percentage submissions by far. Here is a really cool study that broke down UFC submission statistics over the past 25 years. Most dangerous submission. There's a reason they're not allowed in amateurs. Heal hooks you don't feel real pain until there's already damage done. The main way to defend a heal hook is by rolling. If you roll the wrong way and your opponent doesn't let go. You'll snap your knee and ankle just from the weight and momentum of your body.

I wonder what Gordon Ryan will do, if he enters the UFC. Those DDS guys are phenomenal at heel hooks and Ryan Hall already proved how effective BJJ and good range management can be even if you are not the strongest wrestler.
