I remember meeting Alistair Overeem YEARS ago when i was 15 or 16 and i was about to compete in my first ever local Kickboxing match in The Netherlands and he was just done with his match and he walked towards my coach and me and said something to my coach and then he showed me this HUGE swelling on his shin and laughed about it while i still had to compete and i got even more nervous lmao. What an amazing career! I'm rooting for him once again!!

Watched Overem knock out Badr Hari high on cocaine at about 4-6AM in 2008, K-1 Dynamite. This man defies logic, after such a long career and people forget he was a kickboxer. I don't think this guy even gets chills, worried, or anything when he fights. He just loves it, he loves everything about it. Respect to a legend.

this man got caught using banned substances, but despite getting caught he didn't really declined badly and in fact he tried to proved to everyone that he's good without it. Overeem is literally one of the few fighters who still fought their heart out after the reign of terror that USADA sent on UFC. Overeem deserves respect.
