Dude Ngannou is fucking dangerous, and surprisingly skilled for a guy who initially became popular mostly due to his power. Like even his ground game has improved immensely, as well as his timing and patience. He has become such a polished powerhouse it’s actually cool to see. And I’m honestly lost when it comes to picking a winner of the Ngannou v Jones fight. I honestly think Ngannou had an edge at this point.
@DeborahChangMD2 жыл бұрын
@Audio and whips I’m not saying that Jon Jones doesn’t have an overall better repertoire, in fact I very much know that he does. I’m just saying that Ngannou can take a lot of damage, not to mention that his evasive and defensive skill has improved immensely. All he has to do is wait, slip, and counter. He has the power and most of his many knockouts have been counters. He’s quick and accurate. Not saying Jones is gonna be an easy fight, but I think Ngannou will perform better than you’d expect. To say he’s gonna get eaten is a little bit unfair. Ngannou like 5 years ago would’ve been and easy fight, but current Ngannou is a different animal, a beast.

@Audio and whips Jones is washed up dude. He looked a shell of himself in his last two fights against Thiago Santos and Dominick Reyes, he got by in both those bouts by the skin of his teeth and was outright gifted the decision against Reyes. Neither Santos nor Reyes are world-class fighters either, they're journeyman fighters and Jones barely managed to beat them. The glory days of Jon Jones are long gone and never coming back, he will look even worse if he competes at Heavyweight because of the layoff and the added weight slowing him down and sapping his cardio even further. There is no way Jones beats Ngannou fair and square. If it happens it'll be because Jones got lucky with Ngannou not being the same anymore after the knee injury. Meanwhile if Jones looks good, it will look extremely suspicious because the man is a proven drug cheat. Jones is not the same fighter without his pictograms.
