Tbh the whole fight was good. There were some scary moments for Jones in that fight. In this fight it was the only fucking time that Jones got rocked. He lost that 1st round. And then you see jon playing machida's game in the 2nd. That was brillant tho. He was still struggling at the beginning of the 2nd with Machida blitzing on him. And then he just stopped the offense and waited for his own counter. That was just pure talent or pure picogram idk but the dude turned into a counter striker real quick lol.

1. Long body. You can't hit him. He can hit you. 2. Excellent fight iq. Transitions are unary. And he switches often. Fighters get trapped between fighting logics. 3. He throws attacks with real menace. Everything is designed to hurt. 4. He's actually rather big and strong for having such length. If you look at his upper back you can see its actually rather thick. This means he can overpower especially when combining natural leverage. Conclusion: gifted.

I was a fan of Jon Jones until the Lyoto Machida fight. I don’t care that he choked him out, It doesn’t bother me that he won. I thought it was really messed up the way he just let him go knowing damn well Lyoto was out cold. These fighters have their opponents lives in their hands, they should be looking out for each other when it comes to things like that. Lyoto could have gotten seriously hurt from that collapse. It might just be me, but I felt like that was reckless and disrespectful.

I know Jon has made some silly mistakes outside the octagon but inside the octagon he is the greatest fighter I have ever seen. He has it all, high fight IQ, wresting, striking, and killer instinct. A few of those opponents like Machida and Shogun are just a few seconds away from death when the referee stopped the fight. Jon Bones Jones will be remembered as an all time great if not the greastest of all time.

To all khabib fans out there, khabib's game is to just grab them legs, occasional strikes and submit the opponent after getting them on the ground that's just about it. Where as Jones plays on whole another level, he has entire spectrum of mixed martial arts, from grappling and tko'ing Gustafson on ground, head kicks that can knock even DC unconscious, standing guillotine to dragon, kimura to belfort, elbows that are viscous both on ground & stand up and beating the life out of shogun so much so that he taps even after the fight is over. Pound for pound jones is the best out there, there's no competition.

And here is the big problem - Ngannou's reach of 83 inch is almost as much as Jones. Miocic was like 245 pounds vs Ngannou, I think Jones weighs 225-230 pounds on fight night. Jon Jones may become 245 pounds with time but I think he will look out of shape and much reduced athleticism at 245 pounds.
